What is infrared application?
Infrared applications use infrared light to specifically support well-being. Infrared light (often referred to as "infrared heat") is not part of the visible light spectrum. We perceive it as a pleasant warmth because the energy emitted gently stimulates the water molecules in the body, thus generating a pleasant deep heat.

Infrared radiation has long been valued for supporting general well-being and is now very popular as a method for promoting a vital lifestyle.
Don't be misled by the term "radiation": infrared light is a form of non-ionizing radiation. This means it does not have the energy to damage DNA. It is found everywhere in nature – for example, in sunlight or warm objects – and is considered safe for wellness applications.
The potential of infrared heat
The application of infrared light can contribute to supporting circulation, releasing tension, and promoting general well-being.
Furthermore, infrared heat can help the body regenerate, support sleep quality, and contribute to reducing daily stress. It is often used in combination with other wellness rituals such as massages, halotherapy, or red light therapy to complement the holistic experience.

How does infrared light work?
Infrared wavelengths are absorbed by the body and directly converted into heat energy. Infrared light penetrates gently and can support processes related to the natural elimination of metabolic products.
In addition to the potential of the wavelengths, the application works by gently raising your core temperature. This increase can slightly elevate the heart rate and dilate blood vessels. This promotion of blood flow can lead to optimized oxygen and nutrient supply, which can support circulation and the body's natural regenerative processes.
Interesting note:
A 2019 study by Birmingham University suggests that regular use of the Clearlight® infrared sauna (e.g., three times a week for 30 minutes) as part of a conscious lifestyle can support body fat reduction.

Is infrared radiation safe?
Yes, the use of infrared heat is considered safe. It is a non-invasive method for promoting well-being. The human body itself emits infrared heat as part of its natural metabolism.
Our Clearlight® technology is designed to use only the beneficial wavelengths, without the harmful UV components of sunlight. This type of heat is so gentle that similar technologies are even used in sensitive areas of infant care to maintain stable body temperature.
Important note: Infrared applications are safe for most people. Nevertheless, there are situations (e.g., pregnancy, certain heart conditions, or metal implants) in which a doctor should be consulted. If you have health concerns, we generally recommend seeking medical advice before the first application.

Infrared sauna vs. traditional sauna
Infrared saunas differ from traditional saunas in that they heat the body directly, rather than primarily heating the ambient air. While a traditional sauna often reaches extreme temperatures of over 80 °C, which can make breathing difficult, the infrared cabin offers a significantly more comfortable alternative at 45 °C to 70 °C.
Another advantage: infrared waves promote conscious sweating and, with regular use, can gently stimulate metabolism – all without the oppressive heat of a steam sauna.
Why the placement of the emitters is crucial
Clearlight® saunas use strategically placed infrared emitters to directly and evenly reach the body's core. The emitters on the back wall cover the entire length of the back, while the front emitters direct heat specifically to the front body core.
Thanks to patented True Wave™ Technology – a unique combination of ceramic and carbon – Clearlight® saunas enable excellent heat penetration. This creates an intense yet pleasant sweating experience that sets standards in terms of relaxation and well-being.
