CE Certified Safety Standards for the European Union
The CE mark is a requirement for products sold in Europe. The CE mark identifies a product as complying with the health and safety requirements set out in European legislation and is mandatory for devices operated in the European Union (EU).
To ensure that you are using electrical equipment that meets Australian safety standards, Saa Approvals is accredited by JAS-ANZ to issue approval certificates for declared products. Undeclared products can also be approved if they have been shown to meet the requirements of the relevant New Zealand standard.

The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) confirms that the ingredients in our paints, glues, and wood sealants do not contain any toxic or hazardous substances.
ETL and ETL-C Safety Certification
Standards for the United States and Canada
Electrical Testing Laboratories (ETL) has been certifying products for over 100 years and is one of the oldest product safety testing laboratories in the world. Certifications by ETL and ETL-C give you the assurance that all Clearlight® sauna models have been tested for compliance with US and Canadian safety and performance standards. We carry out safety certification of the entire sauna to ensure lifelong, safe use.
VOCs - Volatile Organic Compounds
We designed and built our saunas to be free of harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds). To verify this, we regularly have strict VOC tests carried out by external laboratories. Air samples are first tested in a clean room, then the sauna is set up and a second round of samples is taken. The sauna is then programmed to heat up and run at maximum temperature for over two hours; at this point, another series of air samples is taken inside and outside the sauna. All results are then compiled, compared, and recorded. This way, we know that no VOCs are present during your sauna session.
Our conformity with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive is verified by RoHS standards and certified by Intertek.
